Your Journal
You will be creating a science journal this year. I will start by giving you directed entries asking for your thoughts on science topics, and eventually you will be writing about your own ideas or discoveries. Science sites and activites await you. For an example of an activity click here. As we travel together through science, your journal will be your individual scrapbook of our trip.

SCIENCE JOURNAL
Today our journey takes us to cyberspace. Follow the steps below. *Note- use the F9 button to show the open windows and then click the one on which you want to work.
1) Go to Word on the dock and click on File in the top bar and then click on New Blank Document. Label it: First Entry - Cannon.
2) Click on File again an then on Save As.... In the drop down box go to Documents in the left hand column then to New Folder in the gray box below. Label the folder: Science Journal. Then be sure to click Create and then Save.
3) Go back to your First Entry - Cannon, now you are to write about the number of attempts, the angle, and the velocity of the cannonball as you tried to hit the target.
